When it comes to amenities, no community in Southwest Florida outshines those available at Kalea Bay, the luxury residential high-rise community located on Vanderbilt Drive, just north of Wiggins Pass Road in North Naples.
Not only does Kalea Bay have exceptional amenities for never-ending culinary delights, but it also features one specific amenity designed for fun-in-the-sun – times three.
At The Club at Kalea Bay residents and visitors will find, not one, not two, but three different pools, all of which overlook the large lake at the community’s entrance.
“At Kalea Bay we feature a resort pool, an adults-only pool and a kids’ wading pool just outside our 25,000-square-foot clubhouse,” said Inga Lodge, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Kalea Bay. “Expansive sun decks with lounge chairs and native, tropical plants separate each of the three pools for the ultimate in privacy.”
Having three pools by the clubhouse is very unique in the Southwest Florida marketplace. But considering Kalea Bay’s resident profile, it makes tremendous sense.
“The majority of our residents are older and have grown children and grandchildren, who often visit,” Lodge said. “But we also have some families with children living here full-time. And depending on their age, the three pools definitely come in handy.”
As for the adults, they have the option of using the resort pool or the adults-only pool, which is only a few steps from the community’s Tiki bar.
“It’s good to have options,” commented Lodge.
For more than three years, residents of Kalea Bay have been able to enjoy their community’s incredible clubhouse and the many amenities that surround it. “I can’t begin to tell you the number of compliments we’ve received on our amenities over the years,” said Lodge.
The 88,000-square-foot main amenity center is also located on the north side of the large lake at the community’s entrance. In addition to the three pools and expansive pool decks, it features an open-air bar, a fitness center, a lakeside fire pit, kid’s game room, teen lounge and an event lawn – in and around the clubhouse.
If basking in the sun or taking a refreshing dip in the pool isn’t on a resident’s schedule, perhaps meeting friends for lunch, dinner or drinks is.
“We have the perfect place for all three,” said Lodge. “Our restaurants serve incredible meals throughout the day. And what better way to celebrate the good life in Florida than meeting family and friends for drinks while watching the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. This is what living in Florida is supposed to be.”
Two restaurants serve residents of Kalea Bay. The Driftwood Café offers a more casual fare while The Salt and Oak restaurant is designed for an elegant evening dining experience and includes such features as a private dining room, a banquet room and wine tasting room – among others. The current state-of-the-art fitness center features stationary bicycles, assorted strength machines, free weights and stretch area.
For those residents who have young children or grandchildren, the clubhouse will delight one and all with a teen lounge, complete with virtual reality and PS4 games, foosball, WiFi and multiple TVs, and a kid’s game room with child-size furniture, books, chalkboard and TVs.
Adjacent to the clubhouse, in addition to the guest cottages, lies the tennis pavilion with four Har-Tru tennis courts, as well as eight pickleball courts. Guest suites for overnight guests are also located near the clubhouse.
While current residents of Kalea Bay are enjoying all of the community’s amenities, sales are continuing at a strong pace.
Only a few residences remain available in the community’s second tower, which was completed in the summer. Potential buyers looking to purchase a high-rise residence for immediate occupancy are encouraged to visit Kalea Bay’s on-site sales gallery as soon as possible.
Construction and sales in the community are now focused on Tower 300. The tower is 22 stories in height and includes 120 residences. Specifically, it’s 20 floors of residences over two floors of parking. Rooftop amenities are similar to those found in Tower 100 and 200 including a rooftop pool, open-air fitness center and a sky lounge.
“As of mid-January, our third tower surpassed the 50 percent sold mark,” commented Lodge.
Six floor plans are available in Tower 300 ranging between three-bedroom plus den/three-and-a-half-baths to four-bedroom/ four-and-a-half-baths. The size of the residences ranges from 3,722 to 3,919 total square feet.
Each floor plan, following an open-concept design, allows the living, dining and kitchen areas to spill out onto an expansive lanai, creating a true outdoor living room.
Kitchens include such standard features that most consider upgrades such as luxury cabinetry, quartz countertops and a large island, as well as SubZero and Wolf appliances.
The master bedroom includes an oversized walk-in closet while the master bath has his and hers vanities, quartz countertops, luxury cabinetry, a soaking tub and a glass-enclosed shower.
Additional residential features include floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that retract across the entire living area bringing the outdoors in. The large lanais are constructed with transparent glass rails for uninterrupted views of the gulf. Smart home ready and fully equipped laundry rooms round out the list of features.
Residences in Tower 300 are currently priced from $1.5 million. ¦
