Peter Alverso Pasqualone passed away at his home on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the impressive age of 98. Pete was born on April 14, 1923 to Eugene and Lucia (Corradi) Pasqualone and was a graduate of Geneva High School. After serving in the United States Navy during World War II, Pete returned home to the city he loved best, Geneva.
On June 22, 1946, Pete married his one true love, Kathryn Seavey, with whom he raised his beloved sons, Peter and Gary. Pete firmly believed in giving back to his community, serving in a number of community positions including the Geneva School Board and as a Geneva Township Trustee from 1978-2005. He was named the “Citizen of the Year” by the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce in 1995 and was a long-time member of the Geneva Rotary. Pete retired from the United States Postal Service with over 30 years of service
Pete enjoyed an afternoon spent golfing at the Madison Country Club, making wine to share with family and friends, and tinkering in his extensive garden. Above all, he adored his wife and family.
Pete is survived by his sister Norma Martin of South Carolina; son Gary (Deborah) of Madison, daughter-in-law Carla of Virginia; grandchildren David of Columbus, Cara Lee (Bob) of Westerville and Molly Trant (Tim) of Virginia; and great-grandchildren Haley, Garrett, Asia, Seth, Elizabeth, Avery and Timmy. He was preceded in death by his wife Kate, his parents, his siblings Ozzie, Annie and Doris, and his son Peter.
The funeral mass will be held at St. Cyprian Church 4223 Middle Ridge Road Perry, Ohio at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021, In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Pete’s memory to the Mark Brace P to P fund with checks made out to Geneva Area City Schools.
