Don’t feel ashamed if you’re still figuring out this weekend’s Passover dinner – life’s been coming at us pretty fast lately and big holidays can creep up.
A number of Toronto restaurants have Passover menus available to order until the last minute. For people who want to keep things tight-knit but also celebrate communally, try having the whole family order from the same restaurant and share a meal over Zoom.

Barque Smokehouse
For a barbecue-lovers Passover dinner, Barque’s menu hits all the spots. Smoked brisket, smoked citrus salmon, smoked turkey breast and jumbo wings round out the mains available for pre-order. They’re doing classic barbecue sides as well as dill coleslaw and Everything Bagel potatoes.

Big Crow
The Rose and Sons/Big Crow Passover offering is all about the classics. They’ve got Tymek’s mixed pickles, matzo ball soup, cold-smoked pastrami and turkey, grilled verscht and numerous sides. Pre-orders have closed but normal orders can still be placed.

Constantine
The Medditerranean restaurant’s Seder finish-at-home kit includes matzo ball soup, coriander crusted brisket, tzimmes and a Passover noodle kugel. It’s available for pick up and delivery and feeds two.

Elle Cuisine
This catering company is giving you a world of options to choose from, including Bubby’s braised brisket, roasted leg of lamb, gefilte fish, spring pea risotto, brown butter mash potatoes, coq au vin and crispy mushroom salad. The meal can be ordered to feed two or four.

Fet Zun
If you’re looking for a shareable à la carte Passover meal with mezzes galore, Fet Zun’s got you covered. From chopped Middle Eastern salad to falafel and muhammara to hummus and mixed pickles, this menu is full of bold flavours. Shawarma two ways (brisket or chicken) rounds out the meal.

Food Dudes
Pre-orders are still open for this Passover Seder package. It includes a three-course dinner for one, two or four and a Seder plate that comes with a roasted bone, hard boiled egg, horseradish root, charoset, parsley sprig and romaine leaf. For dinner: matzo ball soup, gefilte fish, braised brisket, whole roasted chicken, smashed confit fingerling potatoes and more.

La Palma’s Passover hamper comes with a traditional brisket and a not-so-traditional candied matzo crunch for dessert. The rest of the meal includes schmaltz-roasted vegetables, leafy green salad, matzo ball soup and an optional wine pairing.

Summerhill Market
Available to order for pick-up at all four Summerhill Market locations, this Passover meal was designed by the company’s new executive chef Ted Corrado. You can choose from turkey, beef tenderloin or brisket dinners. The slow-cooked brisket also comes with sweet apple-butter and red wine sauce, honey-glazed carrot tzimmes, sweet potato mash and miso-maple Brussels sprouts. It can feed any number of people.

Taverne Bernhardt’s
The latest restaurant from the team behind Dreyfus has been teasing something special for Passover. The menu hasn’t been announced yet but expect matzo, kneidlach, smoked trout and, of course, rotisserie chicken. Keep your eyes peeled to their Instagram.
