Rowan Symphonic Band & Concert Band: Down By The Riverside

Rowan University Symphonic Band, under the direction of Joseph Higgins, and the Rowan University Concert Band, under the direction of Mark Kadetsky, present a program featuring a new transcription of H.T. Burleigh songs plus arrangements and compositions by Steve Danyew, Elliot Del Borgo, Adam Gorb, John Lynch, Randall Standridge, and Frank Ticheli.

International Women’s Day 2021

Each year, Cape May Brewing Co. marks International Women’s Day by celebrating the incredibly strong, capable, and talented women at Cape May Brewing Company and Cape Beverage.

From brewing their beer on the brewhouse to serving it in the Tasting Room, the women in their company keep their beer flowing.

You can join in on the fun all day long on Friday, March 5th for their first Fundraiser Friday since this time last year! They’ll be donating $1 from each pint sold that day to the Pink Boots Society, an organization created to assist, inspire, and encourage women professionals in the alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education.

Battleship NJ Tours Return

March 6 & 7 | 11 AM to 3 PM

Battleship New Jersey, Camden

The Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial will open for tours on Saturdays and Sundays in March, beginning Saturday, March 6. Tours will be available from 11am with the last tour departing at 3pm.

To open with a bang, the Battleship will choose a guest in the morning of Saturday, March 6 to fire the ship’s portside (Philadelphia-side) saluting gun at noon. If guests want to guarantee the chance to pull the trigger and fire the gun, they can make a $50 donation when they purchase tickets in the morning. We’ll do as many gun shoots as guests donate for, beginning at 12pm.

During tours, guests can check out the massive 16-inch gun turrets, track a tomahawk missile in the Combat Engagement Center, learn how the crew of the USS New Jersey lived aboard this floating city and more. We’ll also offer guided extended tours of an Engine Room and inside Gun Turret II. These are free add-on options that guests can choose to take.
