Born Trochu, Alberta – November 7, 1922 Death January 14, 2021 – Hamilton, Ontario With love and sadness, we announce the passing of our Mom in her 99th year. She is predeceased by her husband Austin, her sons Austin Jr. and Jeffrey. Mom is survived by her daughters Susan Moore and Pat (Lew) Hummason, and sons Brad and Rob. She was the last of her family of eight children and much loved by all her nieces and nephews. Mom (Kay) will be missed for her antics, her laugh and her fun loving spirit. She retired to Meadowlands Retirement Home in Ancaster, where she whipped around with her walker, made and sold beautiful cards. She was always impeccably dressed and admired for her style and grace. All who knew her benefitted from her warmth and sense of humour. She had fun making wine and enjoyed a glass (or two), playing cards, curling, and shopping (not necessarily in that order). But more than that, she loved getting down on the floor to play with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They loved her laugh and her shriek when she was surprised, and they called her Grandma Agh. They knew she cheated at cards and laughed when she protested her innocence. She really was the biggest kid of all. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid 19, there will be a private family gathering when possible. We love you Mom and we miss you already.
