The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) has organized a pre-Valentine’s Day celebration that residents are cordially invited to.
International Wine Pairing-an educational wine tasting experience, pairing wine with light bites and music will be Saturday, Feb. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Poinciana Community Center, 445 Marigold Ave.
The fee to participate is $15 per person and includes an assortment of five wine tastes served by professional sommeliers, education on history and types of wine, food pairing and a chance to win a door prize.Payment and advanced registration is required. Register and pay at the Community Center by Friday, Feb. 5.

The Big Red Bus will be at Poinciana Medical Center, 325 Cypress Parkway, on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. All donors will receive a $10 e-gift card, a long sleeve T-shirt and a free appetizer coupon courtesy of Carrabba’s Italian Grill.
In addition, donors will receive a wellness checkup, which includes the COVID-19 antibody test, blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening.

You must wait at least 14 days before donating if you have been exposed to someone who has or may have COVID-19 or have been recently been tested and awaiting results or you have a confirmed active case of COVID-19.

The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) presents its first Poinciana’s Virtual Talent Show. This talent competition is open to all ages. If you can sing, dance or act this is your time to shine!
The first-place prize is a $100 Amazon gift card; $75 for second place; third-place is $25. The winners will also receive a trophy.
Talent acts should be no longer than 60 seconds. All acts will be shared on APV’s social media platforms. Complete and return the participation form on APV’s Facebook page to: liz.wargo@fsresidential.com. Entries will be accepted up to Sunday, Jan. 31.
