Bedroom Culture: A Virtual Adaptation at Cleveland Public Theatre
As part of its annual “Test Flight” series, which allows artists to co-produce their own original plays, Cleveland Public Theatre is hosting its second week installment of the project this Thursday and Friday night. The piece, written and directed by local writer and musician Hannah Leach, follows the story of a freshman college student named Lavender as she explores love, friendship and other coming-of-age experiences. Easter Sunday Bunny Lunch at Georgetown and Vosh
If you’re from Cleveland, you know that by the time Easter rolls around, it doesn’t mean that spring is fully out just yet. Hosted by Ferrante Winery, this event allows wine-lovers a chance to explore and discover different wineries around the area through this monthlong Ice Wine Trail. Either visit all six participating wineries such as South River Winery, Debonne Vineyards, St. Joseph Vineyards and others, or pay $6 for each stop for the ones you want to try. At each stop, attendees receive a sample of ice wine from the winery, along with a complimentary appetizer. Return of the Butterflies at the Cleveland Botanical Garden Presented by Holden Forest and Gardens, visitors are invited to experience more than 600 newly emerged butterfly species in the Costa Rica biome starting this Saturday. After months of winter, the Cleveland Botanical Garden’s Glasshouse comes to life again with colorful winged butterflies, which will include an array of species such as the Julia Longwing, Blue Morpho, Grecian Shoemaker and more. The Rustbelt Ragtops at the Winchester Tavern
If you’re looking to get up and dance, stop by the Winchester Tavern this weekend to see an engaging series of performances from three different local bands. The night kicks off with local rock band The Chewy Center and Ohio-based artist Sammie Leigh. The main show of the night features The Rustbelt Ragtops, a Cleveland-born band known for its blended sounds of rock, folk, reggae and hip-hop.
