MILK Cafes in Edinburgh have designed a home-made Mother’s Day brunch box for two.
The boxes, which can be made veggie or vegan, are available for delivery or collection on both Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 March.
Flowers from Tupelo Tree can also be added to an order.
Priced from £35 (without flowers) the original brunch box includes: Pan au raisin, almond croissant, Santu Coffee 250g, rhubarb compote with greek yoghurt and pistachio and rose granola, charred corn and Devon ancho chilli cornbread muffins, Heatherfield smoked salmon, seasonal fruit and cold pressed orange, turmeric + ginger juice.

Eteaket afternoon tea delivery
Edinburgh’s Eteaket have created a special one off delivery of their afternoon tea for two on Mother’s Day.
The afternoon tea is priced at £29.95 for two and include: plain and fruit scones, mini patisseries, jam and clotted cream, a range of finger sandwiches, eteaket teabags and a pop up cake stand.
Delivery is available in Edinburgh for postcodes EH1-EH12, and orders are being taken now until Friday 12 March.
Home by Nico
Order your mum a meal to remember with the latest menu from Home by Nico – the cook at home kits from the team behind Six by Nico restaurants.
Dishes on the four course menu include: potted hot smoked salmon, sirloin of beef, a cheese course and dessert of dark chocolate mousse.

Stem wine club
Treat your mum to the gift of good wine this Mother’s day, with a delivery from Stem Wine Club.
Set up as part of Home-X, the wine tasting experience is inspired by the wines usually available as part of the Six by Nico tasting menu.

Stirling Distillery gin tasting
Children 1st and Stirling Distillery have teamed up to offer a fun, informative and interactive event that allows families from all over the UK to come together and celebrate Mother’s Day virtually.
Attendees will experience a tour of the distillery and taste some Stirling gins and gin liqueurs, which will be sent in advance in a Mother’s Day Gin Tasting Pack.
The team will talk through each spirit during the tasting and answer any questions. Stirling Distillery is donating £5 from the sale of every ticket to help Scotland’s children.

Made at the Glenrinnes Distillery – which has views of the Ben Rinnes mountain, the gin (and vodka) is named after the eight different counties that are visible from the top of Ben Rinnes on a clear day.
The Eight Lands Gin is a London dry gin and is distilled with eleven botanicals, including sorrel and cowberries that grow wild on the Glenrinnes Estate.

All made in-house by the pastry team, there’s also an option to include champagne.

Independent Wine virtual tasting
Edinburgh’s Independent Wine has a range of virtual wine tastings that are perfect as a gift, but if your mum prefers a glass of wine with chocolates, the retailer has teamed up with the Highland Chocolatier to pair truffles with wines.
Customers can choose from three wines to pair with a box of award-winning chocolates with prices starting from £53.85.
The virtual wine tastings include access to an hour long virtual Zoom call and delivery of three full-size (750ml) bottles of award-winning wine from Italy.
The first two sessions are taking place just before Mother’s Day weekend – the 11 and 12 March – and focus on red wines from Northern Italy.

Each classic Afternoon Tea Box may include For Cake’s Sake’s secret recipe strawberry milkshake cake, raspberry and white chocolate cruffins, filled shorties and their handmade, chocolate truffles, as well as a selection of savouries.

McLarens on the Corner
McLarens on the Corner in Edinburgh has launched a Mother’s Day family feast priced at £30 per person with minimum order for two people.
As part of the three-course meal, there is a choice of a seafood or veggie sharing platter, including chargrilled chilli squid; crevettes; salmon croquettes; smoked mackerel pâté with lobster aioli; red pepper hummus, smoked aubergine and spinach and feta samosas.
A choice of mains include roast chicken and bacon potpie; beef pot roast; spinach, roasted squash, mushroom and cheddar Wellington; as well as sides.
To finish, desserts include caramel cheesecake lollipops and bubble waffle sticks. There is also the option to add on extra child friendly meals.
